Designer: Franz Harary
Builder: Franz Harary Illusion Team
In 1988, Harary had the idea he would like to drive a motorcycle through an assistant. He was able to do this, but then realized the illusion looked better if it was simplified to just walking through.
The magician places his assistant in between two panels. The assistants arms extend from either panel and two more assistants hold her in place. The magician then raises a sheet in front of the assistant, her arms remaining visible and moving the entire time. He then passes through her body and lowers the sheet showing she is unharmed.
The original method was more complicated, but Harary simplified the method further c2009 and has been performed simply with 3 assistants, panels, and a cloth since that time.
