Experiment 13 was created by Robert Harbin and detailed in the “Magic of Robert Harbin. Owners of this book are authorized to build and perform the illusion.

An assistant stands in place and a wooden frame (stocks) is placed around her. The magician takes a box with 13 protruding rods and stabs them through the front of assistant while she is held upright by the stocks. The rods are shown coming out the back part of the stocks, having gone through the assistant. The rods are removed and the assistant emerges unharmed.
